According to an article I read recently, finding things that make you smile will help guide you toward your life purpose.
I tend to agree.
Things that make us smile are generally things we enjoy, and I’ve learned and believe that things we enjoy form part of our purpose.
It can be a starting point and a safe way to ease your way into self discovery.
Here are some of the things that make me smile:
- My baby. Her corn niblet toes, her fuzzy head, kissing the crook between her neck and shoulder.
- Cycling. Riding quickly or touring slowly, time spent on my bike always re-energizes me.
- Making people laugh.
- My husband.
- Helping others.
- Taking a photo and then, when I look at it later, seeing patterns or small details that I didn’t notice when I clicked the shutter button.
- Meeting a goal.
