Last year was a year of growth, of shedding of my skin, of continued learning.

Quite frankly, it was exhausting.

I have more learning, growing, and moulting to do in 2014, and will need a strong word to help guide me through it.

There’s a theme in them there words

When I looked perseverance up in my thesaurus, it was pretty clear to me that it was the right word.

Some synonyms:

  • Steadfastness
  • Steadiness
  • Constancy
  • Endurance

Is it coincidence that the word that comes after perseverance in the thesaurus is obstinacy?

Here’s to stability, to steadiness, to steadfastness, to constancy, to endurance… to perseverance!
